The Retirement Home El Carmen (reg nº: AS/C/0003556) is a certified center subsidised by the Department of Equality and Social Welfare of the Junta de Andalucia for senior citizens and dependent individuals.
We are able to provide a full service to the elderly, as well as those who are better, and the most handicapped or with immobility or those who require more specialized health services.
It is a privately managed center with 30 subsidised and 29 private places distributed in units of single and double rooms which are tailored to the specific needs of each person regardless of their pathology. These pathologies range from the fragile elderly person with chronic but stable illnesses and good physical functions to different degrees of cognitive impairments to completely dependent individuals. Special attention is given to the level of dependence and the amount of care the person requires.
The stays at the home can be permanent or temporary for different reasons: recoveries, vacation, weekends, rest periods for non-professional caretakers, etc.
The Carmen Nursing Home offers a cozy, friendly atmosphere and personalized, comprehensive, continued geriatric care covering every aspect of a person´s life (medical, psychological, social, cultural, and community).
This comprehensive care is carried out by an interdisciplinary team and other professionals who communicate, exchange ideas/opinions and coordinate their work so that if there is any change in the user´s situation, the work plan is modified accordingly.
The nursing home provides the users all the services that are necessary to give quality care: medical office, nurse´s station, social and psychological attention, therapy room, gym, chapel, laundry, kitchen, hair salon, living rooms, visiting rooms and gardens.
